Faith and a Better You: A Fresh Start in 2025

It’s been a while—March 2022 to be exact. The last time I shared here, I was in a different season. Life was moving fast, and so was I. But today, I’m back, not just to pick up where I left off, but to start fresh, with new purpose and renewed focus.

Yesterday, I celebrated my 38th birthday. I chose to show up boldly, rocking a sequined dress and heels, because I believe in celebrating every version of myself—even the ones still on the way to where I want to be. And today, wearing Mocha Mousse, Pantone’s Color of the Year, I feel grounded, refreshed, and ready to relaunch this space.

A lot has happened in these past few years. I launched my podcast, The Audacity to Heal, on my birthday last year, and it’s been a journey of growth, vulnerability, and connection. It reminded me that there’s so much power in sharing our stories—not just the polished, put-together parts, but the raw, real, and unfiltered moments too. That’s the energy I’m bringing back to this blog: realness, reflection, and a whole lot of inspiration.

One thing that’s always been a constant in my life is thrifting. I love the hunt, the finds, and the way you can take something old and make it feel brand new. It’s a lot like life, isn’t it? Sometimes, we just need to be dusted off, given a fresh perspective, and placed in the right environment to truly shine.
